The first thing that struck me was how clean this campus is. The staff provides a comfortable atmosphere for learning. The enrichment courses offered are ones to rival the best in our parrish. Students are constantly participating in programs/fieldrips that enhance the learning experience for our kids. There are so many cultural experiences from the Opera to exploring other cultures through the arts. The children are given support and then more support with tutoring, etc. The programs for reading that were implemented have directly influenced student achievement on testing. The teachers genuinely care and don't end the school day just because the dismissal bell has rung... I know all of this from personal experience because not only am a teacher at this school,I am also a parent of a student that attends this school.
I as a parent have been involved with this school for over ten(10) years. The teachers are among the best and the most caring in caddo parish, and I can't say enough about the princepal. The academic program is excellent, and the way that they build the confadence of there studnets is mind blowing. I have nothing but respect for the staff, they are the best.
