My daughter went to first grade here and we loved it! Great school, great staff, great staff! I really have no complaints and would highly recommend this school especially because it only goes up to 3rd grade!

As a mother of four, I spend many hours on campus helping, and have always been greeted cheerfully, respected, and loved. My kids feel appreciated, and acknowledged as people at this spectacular school. Academically, the scores tell the tale, but the rest of the story is these kids love to learn as they are taught by a wonderful team of teachers that love to teach.

I love this school. My son went to T-1 there and is now in a gifted progrm. The staff is great. My son was in the science club and just loved it! I really can't think a single negative thing to say.

I am a parent of 2 Whispering Forest students and have recently (2008) become a substitute teacher for this school as well. I have had the opportunity to see Whispering Forest as both a parent and as a teacher and I simply adore this school all the way around! The principal, teachers and office staff are all incredible! I only wish the classes would go all the way to 8th grade (or higher) ~ I just hate to leave them! This school is a smaller school than average, therefore, the children are treated as individuals and not a number. As stated by other posts, Whispering Forest is extremely neat and clean and is located in a nice, safe area of Slidell. Knowing many teachers here, I can personally attest that they really do care about their students... I know the kids are treated with respect and fairness.

My daughter is in her second year at Whispering Forest. The faculty and staff is top-notch. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to visit their children. There are also many other programs that young children can join. I really love that the school is always clean and organized and student work is displayed everywhere. Keep up the great job Whispering Forest :)

My child attended Whispering Forest in grades K through T-1. We've since relocated, and she attends a different school as a first-grader. Her educational experience at WF was top quality. This school is one of the reasons why St. Tammany schools as a whole are rated and viewed so highly. They truly strive for excellence and set the standard for many other schools. I was truly impressed with the caliber of teachers that are employed at WF. Each and every one of them went above and beyond to meet the social, emotional, moral, and educational needs of their students. I would not hesitate to recommend this school to any parent.

The best principal I have ever seen at any elementary school. He knows all the student's names and can identify their parents. Great, positive environment for children.

Great school for a child with difficulties. My son has trouble with reading and speech. He got so much more help here than at his previous school out of state. He has made so much improvement. I know he wouldn't have gotten this kind of compassion and help anywhere else but here. The teachers and staff are extremely helpful and always very polite to parents. I would highly recommend this school to any child and especially children with special needs!
