I beleive that this school has a poor diciplinary system. Some people leave school everyday at lunch and never get suspended but, but a student chews gum in class and has detention. Does that make since?

Being a former student at SHS, I have noticed that the students don't necesarily get graded on there performance, but who is popular and who isn't. It depends on who your parents are, where you live, etc. I think SHS needs a new staff and a new principle that treats every student the same.

I am a current student at SHS and would like to give you my viewpoint of this school. In order for you to receive the best possible education, you must challenge yourself and this school offers difficult courses such as Advanced Math, Calculus, and Physics. One weakness of this school that stands out is the teaching staff. Way too many coaches are teachers at this school. They're all horrible teachers. The teachers at this school are either very good or very bad. The quality of academics and the faculty is due to the very low level of parent involvement in this school. This school would greatly improve if only more parents and students cared and took part in school affairs. There are several extracurricular activities at this school for students to take part in. However, because so few students do take part, there aren't that many different organizations at SHS.

This is a great school. I think it will forever be a great school as long as we have parents and teachers who care.

As a former student and current teacher of Springhill High school, let me just say that because our school is located in such a small community environment that a great deal of favoritism is constantly shown to certain students. What one child is suspended for another may get repremanded and sent on his/her way. This is in due part to our principal. Ive watched the punishments vary from student to student, as well as the afformative action. Some children are constantly being chastized for the smallest things because of their grades or maybe their parents or older brothers and sisters reputations.
