Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

This school, and I use the term "school" very loosely, is a joke. I was appalled to receive a letter home reminding parents of the fighting policies and then to hear my 3rd grader tell me the bus had to pull over so the driver could stop a fist fight. When did elementary school become a hotbed of violence? Perhaps if they would separate their advanced students from the discipline problems, they could focus on the individual children. The test scores and adhering to Common Core seem to be all that matter. My gifted child is being held back and bullied so he can help raise up the very kids who have sucker punched him for getting an A on a test. I am doing everything in my power to get him out of this hell hole.

When I enrolled my child into this school I was happy for a new start only to find out the opposite. Now my child isn't perfect but the way she was trying treated was a headache. She was bullied by 2 teachers and it came to a point where because so much was said about her in front of other students they started bullying her. This was happening to a 2nd grader . No one done anything only one teacher seen and d id her bear to resolve the issue. If she has ANY issues this year I'm going to go to the school board first. I pray nobody's child have to endure what my child dealt with.My kid was being bullied at breakfast nobody did nothing and the fact that those young children have to ride the bus with teenagers ...The things my daughter would come home and tell us what she heard I even had a high-school girl threaten her.It was a headache with these people and I'm not going for it this year AT ALL!

I'm being generous with a two star rating. They need to overhaul their program in this school. They run it like juvenile detention center. They should seperate the good kids from the bad and keep the advanced students together so the school year isn't wasted. Lots of misbehaved kids. They do little to reinforce a child's originality and/or uniqueness in this school. Test scores are all that matter and most staff talk down to the parents.
