St. Amant Primary School

I am a teacher in Ascension Parish and have the choice to send him here or another one in this district. I choose this school! Although my child is only in Kindergarten, he is loving every minute of school. Not a moment seems to be wasted on 'busy' activities and the students seem to always be engaged. He is learning at a very rapid rate and he has a teacher that truly cares!

I have a special needs child and I have to say that the staff at this school is WONDERFUL. They do everything they can to make things easier for him. This is a wonderful school and I would recommend it to anyone. They truely care about each and every child.

My two sons started school here in 2002 after transferring from Delaware. The teachers and staff are wonderful and very supportive. Parents are encouraged to volunteer and participate in school activities. All classes in grades K thru 3 receive extra help with reading tutors working with the kids in small groups. They are committed to helping the kids succeed.

I am very pleased with St. Amant Primary. I attended this school and now my son has been there for 3 years. Great teachers, firm yet thorough dicipline & great support. I wouldn't send my son anywhere else.

From the moment we stepped into the hallway I knew I would love this school! The teachers and staff are friendly, yet firm. The students all seem to respect and love each one of them. I have never had a question left unanswered, and usually my questions are answered before I even get a chance to ask them.
