this is an awesome school! As my son's first real school experience, we could not have asked for a better preK program. Mrs. McConnell and Mrs. Angie were wonderful and very helpful and supportive; would definitely recommend this school!

My child has been in Mrs. Patricia Stentz's Pre-K class this year. My daughter has learned SO MUCH! She LOVES school! I am impressed with what she has learned. Not only is she beginning to read, but she also knows her numbers and colors in SPANISH! Now, that is impressive! She even told me how to say 'hello' and 'goodbye' in Chinese. She comes home everyday telling me what she has learned.......everything from math to ocean life facts. North DeSoto Pre-K is AWESOME! Thank you Mrs. Stentz!

I cannot say enough about the Pre-K program at North DeSoto. My son learned so much and loved going every day to school. The teachers were very nurturing and patient. I am so impressed that we are staying with public school at North DeSoto rather than private school. I hope it is this good all the way thru 12th grade. My hat is off to Mr. Burback and his staff for providing a remarkable environment for students and parents. Gigi Mosley

I have a son that attended this school. He was on the superintendance list from 1st-4th grade. The teachers are the best that I have had the privillage to know. They give one on one help to those children that need it, and challenge the ones that can do the work. They are real big on parent involvement. They provide tutoring for students before the Leap test. The teachers expect each child to work to achieve their potential. All of the teachers work hard to make sure that each child is treated fairly and strive for the best that each child can do.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
