All 3 of my children have attended this school and I feel blessed that were able to.

I have two children attending this school. My son is in the rhird grade and daughter in the 1st. I love this school! The teachers are above the best. My son had difficulties last year, but his teacher worked with him and assisted in builing up his confidence. He's in the honor roll this year! This is the most supportive school I've ever seen! Did I say I Love this school!

My son is currently in the 5th Grade. He has attended six different schools due to dyslexia. I cannot say enough about the assistant principal, Ms Flowers, his teachers and the staff. They have all been wonderful and very understanding. They provided my son with modifications he received at a specialized school for dyslexia. The teachers have been available to me anytime I have requested conferences and very insightful of needs my son may have had at that time. They have really gone far and above what I expected from a public school. And this is something they do for everyone as I witnessed from first hand experience. After Katrina many children were displaced from their schools and placed in South Walker. Throughout the time they attended South Walker, every morning Ms Flowers would see each one personally to help with the transition. I would highly reccommend this school.

Two of my children have attended South Walker and I have one more starting Kindergarten in the fall. It's a wonderful school, and the teachers are excellent.

My Granddaughter was accepted as a new student by her peers immediately. The teachers also have made the transition for her easy and pleasant. Academically my granddaughter has improved her National Test Scores almost double from her previous school. The environment at the school is excellent and the office staff is very friendly and helpful. The whole experience has been wonderful for my granddaughter and myself.
