I have 3 children and a niece that go to NLOE and I love the school. I grew up in the Live Oak School system and the teachers are just as caring as they were 20 years ago when I was there. The most important thing to the teachers and staff truely is the students and that makes this a great school.

My son attended NLO the first year it opened and now my daughter is in kindergarten and I couldn't be more pleased. She went from not knowing how to read at all to reading four letter words in just two and a half months. All of the students are very polite when I visit (not just the kindergarten class) and very well behaved, that is something you do not see in Baton Rouge schools at all.

This school is wonderful. This is my son's second year at NLOE and I have been very pleased with his progress. The teachers don't tolerate any misbehavior and I have had no problems with anyone bullying my son. He has an adequate amount of homework and I really feel he is learning. I feel he is in a safe and healthy environment at NLOE.
