At first I was unsure of the open concept of the school, but the teachers at Jordan Acres make it work and in turn so do the students. It has a great center library and the classroom areas extend off of that area, other than kindergarten, which is located in large, more permanent portable outside. It is a very organized school with an involved parent group. Next year, it will house K-2 and will undoubtedly still be a great school.

A fine school that has met all our needs and those of our four children who have attended over the last 20 years.

The school is older and only has half day kindergarten, unlike other schools in Maine. The younger kids are in mobile units, which is kind of tacky. The gym smells funny because lunch is also held in it. It just needs upgrading. The faculty seems great though.
