Freeport High School is an incredible school. The teachers are passionate, intelligent and caring. My son is a freshman and is loving school and life. There are a lot of outside activities in academics, in the arts, music and sports. The principal and guidance counselor are excellent! We are proud of you, Freeport High!

Excellent opportunities for students, good class sizes, building in good condition with new addition. Any school is only as good as the teachers currently there and the administration

'This school is of good quality if you have good students for children. The teachers seem to cater to those who do well and push those that don't aside ' I agree!

This is a great school. Just because it's in a small town people under-estimate the school!

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Maine used the Maine High School Assessment (MHSA) to test students in grade 11 in critical reading, math, writing and science. The results reported show how well students are mastering state standards, specific skills defined by the state of Maine. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
