I belong to a community of caring teachers who work well together to provide the best learning environment that meets the needs of all of our students. Our school prides itself in ongoing professional development of its teachers and support staff in using research based practices that will best prepare our students for high school and beyond.

Being a student that attends to this school I can honestly say that this is a great school. I like the idea of the new programs that are going to be offered in the very near future. I believe that they will help with our schools poor test scores on the Maine Learning Results and MEA's.

This school has alot of potential, but the lack of teachers who are willing to be involved and supportive in their students lives is terrible. Being a former student of this school, I know that alot of the time I felt teachers were favoring other students. A few of my teachers were rude sometimes, making me feel worthless and unintelligent. But then again, there were teachers there, who made me feel brilliant and they were very supportive of my life goals. Principal Bruce Carter is wonderful. Discipline and safety is defintitley not an issue. The sports are very good. Some of the coaches credibility is questionable. Everytime I tried out I was turned down. Either I'm just no good or they were picking favorites, once again. Homework is an issue; too much is given out!
