Governor James B Longley Elementary School 3

With a new principal there have been a lot of new teachers as well. There are some of the older staff and teachers which is good to see and make the changing for the students easier to adjust with. Just alone this early in the year they have come together and have brought the fighting that went on last year in the mornings to not at all. Its something when u have morning fighting at a elementary school than the bigger schools . This year there isnt any which makes the school safer, happier and an all around better place for kids and adults wanting or having to go here. The school nurse is one of a kind. She is always trying to encourage more parent involvement and is and has been motivated to improve whatever she can at the school . She is very dedicated to the students and the future of this school in many ways. There are many teachers that work here that do many things to bring this school to be the best and even when its not they dont stop trying . My kids use to go to small schools and now they go down here. To be able to notice the small details and see just how these teachers go about everyday to make a difference in a child life makes me a proud parent knowing my kid goes to Lonegley elementary and I do see Longely be one of the best schools in the future. Any school can be be #1 if they are given the chance.

As a former student of Gov. James B. Longley I have to say that the educators are very detemined to help their students suceed in and out of the classroom. I have found that my time spent at this school was something I would never forget, a lasting memory! This is a great school!
