This school is the best school I will ever go to. I started there when I was in kindergarden, with my older brother and sister both attending. Since I was there, All problems that ever occurred where addressed head on, and the staff helped kids learn in a safe, bully free environment, We had to switch schools because of the budget, and though my new school is nice, I still wish I could have graduated from Elm Street, Nick Lugner

My son is a special needs child at Elm Street School in Mechanic Falls, Maine. Bryce is autistic and each and every teacher at this small school treats him with the utmost repect and dignity. Their patience and understanding is more than i could have possibly wished for. They have done wonders for my son and they are a definate attribute to our small-town community.

Though there are teachers that need to be informed with what works with your chailds learning style. They are happy with anything the can do to make your experience a great one.

I went to this school when I was younger. I fell through the cracks in this school as the teachers were too lazy to get off their butt and help students. This school is corrupt and I feel that the principal (Mary Martin) has done a horrible job.

I love everything about this school, teachers, Principal and the most awsome office staff. Three of my children are currently attending and one of my daughters did attend and was very sad to leave. She loved Elm Street and all the teachers she had. Another daughter will be leaving to go to ninth grade next year and I will still have two children left. I myself attended Elm Street and some of the teachers I had are still there. The teachers are very easy to talk with and most of these teachers use their own resources in the class room. Parents are encouraged to participate and there is a lot of community involvement.

My 4th gade daughter has attended Elm St. since kind. I now have another daughter in 1st gade at Elm St. also. I love the school, teachers, location and especially the office staff. I feel that I can call anytime. The teachers are excellent at getting back to you. And the entire staff works well with you and with each other if there is a problem to resolve. I feel my children are as safe at school as they are with thier own parents. I look forward to taking my children to 8th grade graduation at Elm Street School. At the same time will be sad to see them leave thier school.

Being new to the area, I was pleasently surprised by the school. Not only are the classes small, for better one on one. But the entire town is active in the school comunity. Parents are not only always welcome to join classes, but are expected to participate whenever possible. I have only the best things to say about this school. Having gone to private school, as well as a private college, I can honestly say that I would not send my children anywhere else.
