The leadership from the principal is lacking. He is not attentive to the needs of the students. He also is not attentive to the needs of the teachers that work in his school. The assistant principal makes up for the poor actions of the principal. The teachers are reasonable. The discipline is administered fairly. The classes are average to below in instruction.
buy the way this school is 6,7and 8th grades I have a 6 grader and 8th grader my 8th grader has special needs andthey are both doing wonderful in this school. The last school that my 8th grader attended was not so wonderful. There is always room for improvement I give them a 4 and a half
very good school with good teachers and lots of days of!! Student of LRMS!!
Seems like they are going through the motions, there is very little parent involvement in the district after the 6th grade. Lots of time wasted on getting ready for the assessment tests. Too many early release days in the district. The middle school is the start of the problem, at Lake Region High School things only get worse.
