I am a parent of special needs child.I wish that the school would take a couple classes on special needs children. My child has went here for 3 years.I love our PT the students are exceptional with her an office help. The nurses an teacher really need to learn more about special needs though.

Principal is ineffective and lacks an understanding of middle schools and middle school children. Has some excellent teachers who have high standards and provide outstanding educational opportunities. As is the case with many schools there are some teachers who are only interested in being friends with the students rather that actually providing an education, but they are limited. With different leadership this could be an exceptional school.

No technology in the classrooms. Teachers follow cookie cutter lesson plans. Use of 'Everyday Math' causes strain on both students and parents.

I was surprised at the mea scores. I would like to see the standard test given to the eighth graders. My daughter is a hihg honors student as well as many of her peers.
