Our son has now gone through 2 grades at this school and will be entering 2nd grade in the fall. We have nothing but good things to say about this school, the principal and all the teachers. When we moved to Maine a few years ago we chose Scarborough partly because of the good things we heard about the educational system here and we have not been disappointed! There is also a strong parent volunteer presence in the school which is a wonderful experience to be able to have as a parent.

I have a 2nd grader and a Kindergardener in Blue Point. They are both in the multi-grade classes. This is the best idea for students who excel past thier grade level. My son is an incredible reader, so it was good to know that even in Kindergarden he was doing things with the 2nd graders in his class. He nevers gets board and the teacher always keeps him occupied with challenging things. I couldn't ask for a better school and staff at this elementary school. The principal, teachers and all of the staff are just incredible. It is nice to know that your kids are taken care of when you are not there. I recommend this school with high honors! Thank you Blue Point Staff.....

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
