I have graduated two kids from Katahdin High School and I am pleased with the results, they both are presently enrolled at the University of Maine's Orono campus. The student government president at UMO is a former classmate and team mate of one of my kids. They all have shown that graduates from Katahdin High School can compete state-wide; and I would contend, nationwide! The seasoned teaching professionals at KHS are a good reason for these kids' success. The administration is tough, but caring. Thank You Katahdin High School for the quality education that you have provided to my children!

I havent been to this school, but when it was just a High School, it was the very best school I had ever attended. The teachers were very good, and the students all got along well, except for just a few incidences. Every year we all were into the sports, especially basketball. I was a cheerleader for 3 years, and enjoyed every minute of it. My Senior year was rocky, as my parents were going through some hard times and eventually divorced. I was supported by Mr. Ritchie, the school principal, and the teachers and they made it tolerable to be there. I wanted to move to the Sherman area, in order for my child to go to these schools, but couldn't do it. Overall, I am very glad I graduated with dignity and pride from this school.
