My son attended this school for four years and I can't say enough kind words about the school and the staff. He went to Strong Elementary school for grades 5-8 and It was not a great experience, so I was nervous when he moved to Mt Abram for high school. I was pleasantly surprised at the great attitude and caring that the teachers showed at this school. Such a contrast to my experience at Strong Elementary. I would recommend this school. They really care about their students not just about making good test scores, so they can look good!

I recently moved to MSAD 58 from Mass. and i cna say this is the most laid back school i have ever seen. there are couchs in half of the classrooms, there are murals everywhere, and the teachers care about their students. i couldnt recommend this school more.

It is in a rural township in Maine it is small wich makes for a great highschool career. We may not have the best test scores but we are a great school

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Maine used the Maine High School Assessment (MHSA) to test students in grade 11 in critical reading, math, writing and science. The results reported show how well students are mastering state standards, specific skills defined by the state of Maine. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
