WPS has teachers who care. They have learning methods to accommodate every student. The character development of the students shows, they are so polite whenever I visit the school. Wonderful Kids.

Wiscasset Primary School has great teachers who are very dedicated to providing the best education to our children and a lot of parental involvement through the P.I.E. group (AKA the PTA :) ), the leadership of school administration has left a lot to be desired in recent years.

I am very disappointed with the experience my children are getting at this school. The climate is negative. No "fun" spirit. No dressing up at Halloween, no bringing in treats on their birthday, fencing around the playground, poor communication, noisy classrooms, high achieving children aren't being challenged. It's depressing.

There are some wonderful teachers in this school, but the board and administration are sub par. If you have a choice, look to another school.

I went to WPS and loved it! My daughter is now attending the school and has had some of my teachers! They provide a wonderful learning environment with a good balance of encouragement, instruction, and individual work time. Every person in that building is wonderful to work with. 25 years later, I still have good memories of WPS and all of the schools in the Wiscasset system. And believe it or not, the teachers remember who I am!
