I think this school is great! however I do think more parental communication would be nice. I do not feel as if I should have to reach out to the teacher to find out what my child is or is not doing in class.

My child is attending Kindergarden there. I was not happy at all due to all the negative reviews and scores. All tho I don't care for the ratio of 26 kids and there are three white children (you get my point) I really LOVED her teacher Ms. Wagner and the staff was efficient with behavior problems from others in her class, on her bus, in the hall way. It sad to say I will not be sending her there next year due to other children behaviors that I dont need my daughter around or exposed to. I dont think William Paca/ Old Post Rd Elem. is a bad school due to there staff, protocols, materials, resources. It's a bad school because the parents that send there kids there DONT CARE!!!!!

I absolutely love the faculty and staff of this school! My first encounter was with the school counselor, Mrs. Cornacchione, and she was so friendly and helpful! My child had some anxiety about changing schools and she made him feel so at home. Her constant contact and communication was impecable! My sons teacher was fabulous and she treated him like her own. My son made the honor roll this past year and he was so happy he made the move to William Paca.

This is a great school for any child to attend. The staff is wonderful, and the principal is incredible. The students needs all always put first. I would highly recommend this school.

My son is a fourth grader at this school. He has attended since Kindergarten. This is a good school. The teachers work hard and are genuinely concerned about and motivated to teach. My youngest son started Kindergarten there this year and I couldn't be more excited. The school building is old and has no AC but I can say that what it's missing on the outside is made up for on the inside. If you're considering this school, go for it. And please, please care enough to get involved because students, parents, and teachers working together is what makes a great school. Don't expect a great school if you're not doing anything to make it one!

I loved this school from the first day I stepped foot in the door... Mr. Tull was like a second parent to me and my children will love him forever... He represented what all principals should strive to be like... May he rest in peace

I feel there isn't a school in Harford County that can compare to the Old Post Road side of the school. My children had excellent kindergarten and first grade teachers. Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Elliott are wonderful and superior teachers. They also had an excellent enrichment teacher, Mrs. Grubb. If it weren't for my boundry exception being denied, they would still be there today. Mr. Tull is the most kind, caring and involved principal I know. Old Post Road is #1 in my book.

I have had children at this school for the last 8 years. It has been an okay educational experience. My oldest is now in middle school and although I feel okay about that, I'm not sure if he truly has enough adequate educational base so he can accurately grasp those middle school basics. I don't blame the school for this. It has a lot to do with the state/county standards which are forced on those trying to develope our students into educationally excellent adults. This county and government teaches mediocrisy and not funding it. If you want a school that is diverse (money as well as ethnicity) as well as large then this is the place for your children.
