Aleph-Bet Jewish Day School is a vital part of the community of Annapolis. The enriching Jewish values are taught to the children in a loving environment, and teaches them to be productive citizens in the community at large. There have even been children from other faiths that have enrolled and thrived in the school. As a Jew, I am proud to support ABJDS.

The best school, the teachers have a way of making the kids know that they are loved. I have a seventeen year old that graduated and a seven year old current first grader. Both my children never wanted a day off from school. The children feel loved!! I love being a volunteer also!!!

The caring faculty and staff are great in bringing out the strengths in students and getting them to produce things which never cease to amaze the parents!

The teachers are so devoted to education. Even though Alpeh-Bet is a Jewish School, it welcomes students who are not Jewish. The school stresses education, community and charity. Because the school gets no government funding, it takes a lot of work to keep it funded. Kids thrive in Aleph-Bet!

Good student to teacher ratio. Nice projects to work on. Lots of one on one attention. Greeted with a friendly smile by teachers in the morning. Sometimes teacher to parent communication has gaps.

Great school. small classes with a 1-9 teacher ratio. The children learn and explore and go far in math, science and cultural studies.

If you are looking for a school where children are encouraged to excel in learning, wisdom, social skills, Aleph-Bet is the school to choose. Children at Aleph-Bet develop a love for learning within a loving Jewish cultural context. Learning Hebrew and Judaics right alongside core courses develops a well rounded student. As many studies have shown, learning a second language early can only benefit a child. The Aleph-Bet staff are more than just educators--they are family.
