There's a high drop out rate for kids that attended St. Casmir formerly Father Kolbe!

I have 3 kids in St. Casimir (formerly Father Kolbe) going from preschool through middle school, and I cannot be happier. It's such a close environment. The teachers are very willing to work with parents and kids when a child has a need. The teachers are so dedicated, putting in way more time than they are compensated for. The school takes a whole-person learning approach, so that includes community service, environmental issues, music, art, etc. Not teaching to the standardized test, which is so common these days. Incidentally, I am not a parishioner and not from Baltimore, and have never felt that had any bearing on anything regarding the school.

My children will not be returning! It's more of a social organization and club than a school. Teachers? Only two come to mind as educators with a calling, the rest know how I feel about them. The first/second grade teacher is now the principal and positive change will never come until the school board exercises some muscle and enforces a better curriculum focused more on learning, than on whether or not you attend that parish or are from B'almore, hon!

I don't know what some of these people are talking about. St Casimir School- formerly Father Kolbe is an amazing place where teachers and staff dedicate themselves to all aspects of a child's learning. They are greeted each morning by the principal who waits at the front door and addresses each child by name. The teachers are highly qualified professionals who come early and stay late to work with the students. The students, including my child come to school happy to be here. Best of all , the kids at this school are constantly involved in service programs. They are socially and globally aware. St. Casimir is even a Green School- one of the few in the City. I thank everyone at the school for all that they do and am glad to be a part of the St. Casimir Family.

My children really enjoyed their time at Father Kolbe School, now St. Casimir. They learned a great deal and looked up to their techers.

The teachers at Saint Casimir School go out of their way to make sure the children are well cared for. We strive to make learning fun and interactive for the students. Often times parents may visit school and see teachers giving up their own time to give students extra support in their school work.

This school is terrible. The teachers don't pay very much attention to the students even though they have small class sizes. Do not send your child here.

Father Kolbe has a very good standing in my book. All teachers in this school care about the students. Many of the teacher go way out of their way to help the students. The area also around the school seem to be a safe and caring area. My family has been around this school for 7 years.
