St. Pius X School has an incredible group of parents who work well with the faculty to create a great school community. I am honored to know them all.

my child attended this school for pre-k. i found that the teacher was very set in her ways and didn't provide a diverse learning environment. i would only recommend this school if your child is an auditory learner. the curriculum did not teach to the various learning styles of the children in the class. even though the literature and the principal said they did. we decided it was actually better to send our child to an area public school than for them to remain at SPX. We loved the family environment but the academics and the learning environment didn't meet our standards, needs or expectations. i heard there was new leadership in place so hopefully this is a change for the better.

My son transferred to St. Pius X in the 5th grade from another catholic school in the city. I was extremely overwhelmed by the principal, teachers, staff, students and parents. They welcomed my son with open arms and he made friends immediately. The academics are much more challenging and the extra curricular activites are amaxing. He is involved in activities that have opened his world to new possibilities that he can continue with in high school. Thank God we transferred him, if not he would have missed out on so much!!! I have experienced the other, St. Pius X is the BEST!!!

St Pius is a disappointment!!! The teachers are rude and unmotivated... I rarely see any teacher smiling... a few things that need to improve in the school is replacing the carpet to tile in the classrooms, get a cafeteria, and get a new principle since kids are dropping like flies at this school... if you are going to pay extra money for a private school i would recommend you run far far away from St Pius and FYI the public schools around St Pius provide a better education

St. Pius X provides a nurturing learning environment where each child is known by name by all the teachers, staff, and students. The teachers and the administration work very closely with the parents to ensure that the school delivers a high quality experience academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The principal and the teachers take a great deal of pride in their students and the school. The principal knows the name of all of her students all of them.

The teachers are great, staff and families supportive, curriculum top-notch, and class sizes small so all children get what they need to succeed.

simply because thru the years the academic level has continued to stay up on a level for all to learn from. With God at the top nothing can or could fail

St. PIus X - Baltimore is a wonderful and caring school. They take the time to educate and love thier students as if they were their own. They have a lot of family oriented events to get all the parents, children and faculty together.

A wonderful school for the youngest student. By the second week of pre-k my son, my son knew quite a few of the older kids by name.

My daughter is in her second year of attendace. Having been a first grader for almost two months, she has already learned so much. The work is challenging, the teachers are caring, and the class size is small. My daughter is comfortable and happy at this school and with her peers.

I love how organize the school is. I love the family vibe. Everyone from the Principal on down if very friendly and cares about the children. This is my first year at St. Pius and I am very pleased and look forward to many more years.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
