Thanks to Chris Caldwell. He is a history teacher, but so much more. He is a coach, an advisor, a friend who truly cares beyond the class and the grade, and who had made a specific positive impact on my son.

In general, very effective. I will say there are some isolated incidents of a teacher or two who are not right for Loyola although that is the case in any institution.

The homework is a bit too much at times. Teachers are not always coordinated and 4 - 5 hours of homework/studying in one evening is excessive.

Many of the faculty care well beyond the grades. They see the student beyond the current grade and they work with them to overcome challenges.

Chris Caldwell. Sees a student beyond the surface and cares for them throughout their academic career.

Loyola Blakefield is a fantastic school that creates a loving and just environment promoting the "Men for Others" mantra that they live by. Academics are challenging and rigorous. They care for the whole person.
