Teacher effectiveness: Strongly agree

- a
In general, very effective. I will say there are some isolated incidents of a teacher or two who are not right for Loyola although that is the case in any institution.

Amount of homework: Disagree

The homework is a bit too much at times. Teachers are not always coordinated and 4 - 5 hours of homework/studying in one evening is excessive.

Develops character: Strongly agree

Loyola lives it's "Men for Others" mantra. The majority of the boys do the right thing and care for one another

Loyola Blakefield provides a loving, nurturing environment that promotes academic growth as well as maximum growth of the young men there, and wonderful relationship building.

Loyola Blakefield is a fantastic school that creates a loving and just environment promoting the "Men for Others" mantra that they live by. Academics are challenging and rigorous. They care for the whole person.

Loyola is a great school with a lot of great faculty. The staff here keep the students engaged in learning by having them participate in group learning activities. It is also great the students wear uniforms with a dress code, I feel this helps the student learn a sense of responsibility and prepare them for the real world. The campus is beautiful and the amenities for the students are excellent.

- a
Loyola has a rich history of providing its students with a solid, well-rounded education. Mind, body, and spirit are central to the school. My experience, speaking as an alum, is that once you scratch at the surface, there's a place for everyone to thrive here. The faculty are very dedicated, and challenged me to take my best efforts to the next level.

- a
Great Jesuit school that delivers not only a great education, but teaches young students to be great men.
