Made me worse too. It's just a nice looking holding cell until you have done your time. They love to use the Isolation Room as punishment. 20 yrs later and I still have nightmares about being in this House of Horrors.

I'm a alumnae of Good Shepherd Center - ten years now. The time I spent in that place did me more harm than good. I have spent the past 10 years teaching myself that I am a good student & a good person. Good Shepherd Center really carters to Maryland's Department of Juvenile Delinquency, nothing else. School is a joke - there is little to no education that is done. Look elsewhere.

the educational level is set at all one level. you can not go up or down in your educational level. you can not go higher than others in your educational knowledge. more problems arise between all girls. there are more problems with indivuals. with being in a set environment. they have more self-injurious behaviors.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
