Npcs was the best. I miss going to that school. All the teachers were the best.

This is my first year with New Psalmist Christian school. I have a 4th grader and kindergarten student. The staff is so respectful and friendly. The moment you pull into the parking lot, someone is greeting you. As you go you get have a good day,and or weekend. The teachers care for your child like they are there own. The classes are very small so your child can get help allways. My children and myself love the school. This is a wonderful example of a family oriented school. This is also a wonderful example, that an all African American School can be just as academic as other race. NPCS has the anointing of God over it,and its a wonderful thing!

You wanna know what i think of npcs. its okay. The teachers don't know how to teach. Even though its a christian school. People there act uncivilized and foolish. I was there for 2 yrs and left.

This is a great school for the money. Tuition includes all fees and field trips. The reading curriculum is exceptional and we are very pleased with our children's progress. I think that the math program at the 1st grade level could be more challenging, otherwise this a very well founded Christian school.

I am in my fourth year as a parent of the New Psalmist Christian School. I have a 2nd grader and a 1st grader. Not only do my children love the school, but I do, too. I chose a christian school because I wanted my children to be able to talk and learn about Christ daily. New Psalmist Christian School builds self-esteem and confidence in our children by nuturing them in a Christian atmosphere. The superintendent and principal are visionaries. The teachers and staff are anointed and consider teaching a ministry and not just a job. I'm glad the school now goes up to the 6th grade, so my children can stay even longer. I hope they go to the 12th grade before we graduate. The test scores speak for themselves. Our children are above average in all subjects. In addition, we just started a Gifted and Talented Program.

My child has been attending this school for 3 years. If I had known this school had a pre-k3 program my child would have come here then. I am highly pleased with this school starting with the greeting I get at the door, to the 'see you tomorrow' or 'have a great weekend' at the end of the day. I love the fact that each grade level has textbooks and the students have individual resource books. The staff is dedicated and challenges the students to go beyond their comfort levels. My child has mastered many of the foreign language phrases and computer skills. I know my child is meeting with high levels of success and the results of the yearly standardize assessments prove it.

I want to let everyone know that New Psalmist Christian School is one of the best kept secrets in Baltimore City! My child is academically, at least, 1.5 grade levels above her peers attending the local public school. She is also growing spiritually and is able to apply the Christian principles to every day life. I find the children to be of wonderful character; very outgoing, caring, and positive. My daughter will be entering second grade in the fall of 2004. I look forward to her completing at least 6 grades with NPCS. My husband and I also plan to send our toddler in the fall of 2005.

If you are in search of a spiritual, positve wonderful learning environment for your child New Psalmist Christian School is the best choice. My child loves school and when your child is just this happy about school it makes learning fun and easy. I am so happy with every feature the school has to offer. The school and it's teachers make you and your child feel at home. New Psalmist has been such a wonderful experience my child will also be attending the summer camp program.

My son has been at the school since Prek3 and he is in the 1st grade. He has been learning Spanish since he was 3. The christian based curriculum is excellent. The A Beka system is well known for its success. I can't imagine sending him to another school. I can't wait until my duaghter is able to go there. There is however, one problem, they don't go all the way up to 12th grade!

I took my child out of a public school, because it seemed as though she wasn't learning what she should for her grade level. She has been at NPCS going on three years and has progress a great deal. I would not have her no other place.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
