It was just announced that BCS is closing. This is unfortunate for the staff, community and most importantly the students. For the last 4 years my child has received an A1 education. I have no idea where to go from here. Its going to be difficult to find a school that lives up to the experience received at BCS. To Dr. Ballard, staff, FCF, students and friends I wish you Gods blessings!

Do you know the kind of mom who makes a smiley face on your pancakes and puts encouraging notes in your lunch bag? These kinds of caregivers are always going above and beyond. BCS is that kind of school.

BCS has a caring group of professionals who love and encourage the students to be the best that they can be.

I love this school. I have three children who attend this school. The school is small with great teachers and is family oriented. The tuition is a great value and they also provide financial assistance to families that qualify on a first come first served basis. I highly recommend this school. Especaially, for those parents who are fed up with the Baltimore City Public School System.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
