Dr. Low is doing a wonderful job. So much change has already taken place. She is a princple that is very envolved and takes great pride in her children. Ms.Christian also is wonderful with her children. She takes time to understand each childs needs great or small.

I have three children that attend Lyndhurst Elementary. My daughter has been there since pre-k and now my sons. There have been concerns that I have as a parent and when I confronted the Principal with them, she has always been on top of things, even with her busy schedule. The school board has put a lot on the schools in Baltimore City so as parents we too have an obligation to our children and the teachers to assist them the best way we know how. IT STARTS AT HOME. We cannot expect the schools to raise our children. But I think that if anyone should have a problem with ANYTHING confront the Principal and her staff, I am positive that it will be addressed in a timely manner.

My son started attending Lyndhurst through a pilot prgram with Saint Bernadine Head start in 2008 and I fell in love with this school. I did everything in my power to keep my son in this school because it was not his zone school and it paided off. My son was in Ms. Chapman's class and I adored her. She new each and every one of her students likes, dislike, as well as their learning abilities. I'm hoping with him going into the first grade he will get a teacher just like Ms. Chapman his 2010-2011 school year.

I have no complaints so far this school year..everything has been going well. Last year was my childs first year at Lyndhurst and it was a rewarding experience for us. Ms. Clark was his 1st grade teacher. No matter what the situation was good or bad she took time out of her schedule to listen. I always gave her praises for her hardwork and leadership. Thanks Ms. Clark for everything.

I would give this school an overall rating of 2. Staff and Administrators neglect to respond to parents concerns. If there is an issue with your child academically, you find out when you receive the report card. Regardless if they have every phone number possible to reach you. Also most of the staff feel they can treat the children in an appropriate manner, because no one care simply because it a Baltimore City Public School. A drastic change is requested.
