I graduated from Bais Yaakov a few years ago and feel I received a wonder education in an excellent environment. Looking forward to sending my future daughters to Bais Yaakov!

This is a school with great strengths and some deficits. Individual attention is paid to each girl, emotionally as well as educationally. There is an excellent learning center for girls with academic challenges. There are staff that effectively and with kindness help deal with emotional challenges. There are different level of classes so that children can learn at their own pace and level. There are out of classroom activities that encourage creativity. Upper level classes are good enough to prepare for college, which is not discouraged. Girls are by and large quite happy, and feel secure. The deficits are that absolutely top level academic performers are not necessarily challenged academically, and are not challenged to rise to the highest level, and need to find such challenges outside the school system. There are not enough sports opportunities. These, however, are deficits that active parents, especially in this day and age, can provide for their children outside of school, if the child is on the same page. All in all, this school has met and at times exceeded my expectations, and I am happy that three of my girls have had this educational route.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
