I am a previous Student at Patterson I left because I hated it. The safety at the school was poor. I wasn't a what you call 'GOOD' student. I ran the halls all day. No one even called my mom. I transfered out of patterson the end of my 10th grade year. I now attend Patapsco High school and it is a great school. I love it their I learn better in the classroom. People are friendly. I don't know how patterson is now but i hope it better then before. Good luck to patterson.

This school needs a little more security because if someone does something really bad, they dont suspend them or expell them. Most of the time, students rome the halls and the staff barely does anything to prevent it. Overall I think this school is good cuz it has a lot of career choices like cosmotology, ROTC, and a lot of sports. The school has over 2000 students and that means it gets too crowded which is really annoying. I really wish the school had air conditioning so we could be confortable with our work. Overall I think this school is the best non-magnet High School in Baltimore City. A rating from 1-10, I would give this school a 7. If anyone likes sports, this is the school that has all sports. One thing is that everyone has to wear uniform or you'll get sent home.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Maryland used the Maryland High School Assessments (HSA) to test students in English 2, Algebra, and Biology upon completion of each course. The HSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Maryland. Students are required to pass the tests in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to pass the tests.
