You will not find a more dedicated staff led by a more visionary, caring and enthusiastic principal! Truly a model.
I totally understand the bus situation but the school is great. Sometimes they would be late and wouldnt even call, i ad to call them one time for 2 hours and finally received a call they were going to be late. but the school helpd my sons vocabular imporved and walking as well. i have recently moved and was sad to because i loved the program they provided all his therapy as well as i didnt have to take him all around to get his thereapy and they fit him there for his DAFO's when he needed them. He was there a year and a half and was always excited about going and when he came home he was so talkitive about everyone.
The transportation getting the child to and from this school is horrible! I wait hours for a bus to arrive and sometimes it's after 10 and school starts at 9. The school itself seems ok, i am still fairly new, my 9 year old daughter just started here this school year but she seems happy when she comes home
The William S. Baer School has an awesome program that engages the children, provide a high quality of care to the students, individually as well as collectively. Thank you to the Principal, Administrator(s), Teachers, Therapists and all those who work with the Baer School. Its a wonderful place for your child to reach his or her full potential. Thank you!!
I think that this school is an excellent choice for handicapped children. My son is 3 and he went half of last year and is now in this year. They have classes for many needs, small classes and large. Intergrated classes for preschool as well. Meaning handicapped and non-handicapped. Great program. Staff cares. They do have music, art and I am not sure if this just applies to the handicapped or both but they a have a pool. It is therapy. They offer therapies and everything. They send home notes everyday to let you know what they did in class. Excellent and you can go and watch them in class as well.
