The staff is excellent and take their time with each child and help them grow. They are always attentive to the children's needs as well as the parents.

This is a wonderful Elementary School.. Our experience has been excellent. The teachers are warm, caring and fantastic. The principal Amy Grabner does her best to know all kids and parents by name. She is approachable and top-notch! I couldn't be more please my children attend this school!

My son Darvius has beed attending Essex Elementary from the start and as far as I am concerned he will until he end. Principal Grabner is awesome! She has total control over the school and the kids still love her... Good job!!!

I have a daughter who started her school career at Essex and will be starting Towson State in Jan. I could not express my satisfaction with teaching staff and curriculum more. I now have a son who will be graduating from Essex this month and am sad to say that my family's experiences with Essex will end. Both of my children had wonderful experiences at Essex and learned a lot. My daughter graduated from Kenwood/Sollers Point last year and was inducted into several Honor Societies. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the Technical National Honor Society, and the Tri-M Honor Society. I commend Essex with instilling the values of learning and hard work in her. My son seems to be right on track to follow in his sister's footsteps.

Essex Elementary school is a wonderful place for children to begin to fulfill their potential. There are varied learning levels and a great ciriculum for the gifted and talented children. The children have music, art, different types of sports and before and after school programs to enable the children to stay physically fit as well as learn in the process. The principal and teachers as well are always encouraging parents to get involved and they are extremely motivating. There are also family night activities for children and parents at the school so they have many oportunities for interaction with the principal and vp and teachers. This is a fine school and I would highly recommend it for any child of K-5. My daughter is now in 3rd grade and she just loves her teachers, principal and her school.

My Daughter & I moved to the area last October of 2003. She had only gone to the 5th grade, everything was so nice and pleasant with our transition to the school. I was worried about my Daughter starting the new school and being in a different area but she did great. I think I was more nervous than her. The Teachers, Principal and the sudents assisted my Daughter like we had been there since the 1st grade. I wanted to say, thanks for being so friendly and open arms to make her school year so smooth! Keep up the good work....
