Perry Hall Middle School offers excellent academics, and extra-curricular activities that prepare our students incredibly well for High school. We meet students' needs to get the best performance out of them in the classroom, and still challenge them to go above and beyond. Using top teachers, administrators, and an encouraged student base, we work together to educate and teach our students not only in academics, but in prospering through their lives. With so many other fun and inviting school pride activities such as; the undefeated basketball teams, various successful clubs, and helpful student council, we are not only a successful school, but one any child would completely enjoy themselves here. Speaking for myself and other 8th grade student there we wouldn't want to go to any other school. We love it here, and trust me. You. Will. Too!

I'm currently a 6th grader and right from the beginning I loved it. All the teachers are helpful and willing to answer questions. There is a HUGE library and so many new people. I absolutely love it there. I'm going to miss it when I go to High school. There are numerous clubs and there's always a program for everyone. If u are trying to decide what middle school you're going to, I highly recommend PHMS!

I'm currently an 8th grader and will be going on to high school in a couple of months. This is my first year here and I absolutely love it! I know at the beginning I was nervous about entering a new school, but after meeting a whole bunch of new people, getting to know my teachers (who are AWESOME), to tell the truth I really don't wanna leave. One of the things that I like abot PHMS is that the teachers prepare you for high school, mentally and physically. I also love how they don't rush through a lesson just so they can say that we learned it. They take their time and are happy to answer any questions you may have so that they know you fully understand. So all in all, PHMS is the best middle school to go to. GO PHMS!!! ILL MISS YOU!!! :)

I am a 6th grader who started PHMS this year(09-10). When I learned Perry Hall Middle was the largest middle school in MD, I was kind of scaried at first. But now since I've been at the school for 3 complete terms now, I take all of those thoughts back. Teachers, clubs, activities and more are all double thumbs up. Anybody going to middle school, go to PHMS!!!!!!

Im currently a seventh grader at Perry Hall Middle. Its my second year; all my teachers have a warm spirit. They're willing to go an extra mile to help me in my time of need. If I dont understand something, They'll review it for the entire class. Theres great security, and I feel at home here. If I could; I would continue all of my schooling years here. I love this school, and I sure will miss it. GO PERRY HALL MIDDLE SCHOOL!

PHMS is the largest MS in the county. Administration has done a fabulous job of improving security and encouraging safety. It is up to parents to get involved in order to ensure their child's academic success. Teachers are willing to meet and discuss options. If not after school, many are willing to come in before school. I found teachers at PHMS willing to 'go the extra mile.' -- Karen W.

It is up to your child and yourself to help your child further in school, mentally and academically. The teachers job is to teach and get to the point. School takes practice and it takes time to study. That is where you and your child come in. You need to be able to sit down at home and cover all areas. As far as the whole pick up thing, I think almost every school has a bit of trouble with that. not All staff stays after school and not Every parents has trouble picking up their child. Perry hall is a great school. The teachers are kind and willing to help and the security is above average.

I love this school, my parents wanted to move i said no way the teachers are so nice. I made so much friends their. Some of the teacher's thier do get an attitude with the student's but some dont. Art at Perry Hall is very good they teach you step by step. The parent involvement is well not very good because it seems like there is alway's a rush in something. Students have some issues we get in a fight almost every oter day. We disobey some of the teacher's and they dont do anything about it. But one disadvatage is that teacher's give lunch detentrion for gum. now you know that that is wrong we should be able to chew gum. we are old enough to not put gum under seats or choke. in chorus and bend it is a exception. Sincerly, Sammantha

My child is a student at PHMS, and I'm not satisfied with it's system, my child was having problems in some of her classes, and when I asked them for help for her they told me to send her to coach class, it's very hard for parents that work to pick them up after school, or when you make the effort for the coach class to pick your child up they cancel the class, I don't hold PHMS, at very good state I don't feel that the teachers care enough for the kids in class, and they don't take time to tell the parents what is going on in class to help their child. I wish they would do things better.

I am a student at this school. The teachers help students with their grades when they're falling behind. The teachers don't make the classes boring while every class is exciting. I love this school and wish every school was like this. I recommend this school for students thinking about which middle school to go to.

I'm a graduate of the class of 2001 from PHMS. My parents loved the school. I learned a lot there and had a lot of fun. The teachers are very helpful and understanding. I've experienced a lot in a private high school and I've noticed how much my PHMS education helped me over my past 3 years. I'ts a wonderful school, has wondeful teachers, and provides a great edcation

This school is a great school. For instance, the principal is very positive and the school itself is very high tech. The teachers are always willing to help the kids and get them to a higher level. The teachers also like to have fun with the kids when they are teaching, but always gets to the point. This school is great! i highly recomend this school for you child!!

Very poor athletic program, its virtually non-existant. The music program is good, but that is the only extracurricular program of any note.
