My daughter is a 3rd grader in Villa Cresta now. She loves this school, she enjoys going every day. We both have liked every teacher and teacher aid or helper there. On a negative note the class sizes are a bit large (27-30) and most classes only have a teacher no aids or assistants. I did speak with the principle on this subject and she says that she asks for aid every opportunity she gets. It is a shame that the state does not comply.

Ms.Teske was a horrible teacher. She didn't pay attention to the kids and she was always on her phone. A baby can teach better then she can ever do.

I have a 3rd grader at Villa Cresta and am considering transferring to private school because the class sizes are large and any kid that is struggling will not get the attention they need to keep up. I rated the school above average mainly because it's one of the better public schools. I will say it is important to make sure you watch the teachers very closely and make sure they understand that you are an involved parent. I strongly feel that kids of parents who do not make themselves very well know to the staff are likely to be neglected.

My child just started elementary school here this year and we love it. He's challenged, supported and loves going to school. The school is very down to earth and diverse and the parents are very involved which makes so much difference! It's situated in the middle of a neighborhood which also makes it feel very safe and comfortable.

As a parent and a Villa Cresta alum myself, I love this school. The staff is very dedicated and the administration is top notch! Teachers go out of their way to help students. There is a great amount of excitement and school spirit, too! I'm thrilled that my child goes to Villa Cresta. What a great school!

I love Villa Cresta Elementary. I love how the teacher's and Principal really value and care about the student's education and well being. They want to see Villa Cresta students succeed from the littlest to the biggest. My son took part in the Pre-K4 program last year and just could not wait until school started again this year for Kindergarten. He has learned and grown so much. He's even taught me a few things such as how to sign the many words that he has learned while in school. I am truly looking forward to a wonderful 2007-2008 school year. I also have high expectations and believe that through Villa Cresta all things can be achieved.

Villa Cresta is a wonderful school that offers a variety of activities for children to grasp the world of learning. The offer numerous extra curricula activities. Parent involvement is a must at this school. I have a third grader at this school and I have two little children beginning the PK 3 and PK 4 program this fall, I have high expectations with this school.

We have three kids in this fabulous school and they love it as much as we do. The pre-K program is top-notch. The learning environment is warm and inviting. The teachers work with children and parents to keep discipline in check. There are lots of family activities to enrich the curriculum after hours. All the staff that we have met so far genuinely care about the education of our children and work hard to make learning happen. The school has a diverse population and children with disabilities are not only included, but welcomed with open arms by staff and students alike. Of all the schools we have attended, (being a military family, there have been many) this is the best school in which our kids have ever been enrolled.

We currently have two students enrolled at this Parkville elementary school. To date, our third grader has experienced wonderful leaders. The curriculum has exceeded our expectations. The extra-curricular activities offered by the school are impressive (sign language club, foreign language club, cheerleading, school spirit, Kids Panel, Science Fair). Villa Cresta's principal of 9 years was transferred over the summer. It will be interesting to see what ideas and inspirations the new principal has to offer the students, staff and parents. The PTA and parent volunteers at Villa Cresta are phenomenal. I dare to say you won't find the teamwork and dedication presented by this PTA at many other schools. Our second child is entering the new all day kindergarten which we are looking forward to. Overall, Villa Cresta Elementary is an exceptional public school.
