I am getting ready to pull my son for homeschooling the teachers are not very helpful when it comes time for homework or classwork problems he recently has been out on home n hospital for an ongoing illness and we have tried numerous times to get his grades for 2nd quarter straight the tutor has tried to email the councilor and she still has not replied with an answer my son is very smart and willing to learn but the teachers or not willing to help the school has not changed i also have to older children that attended stricker in the late 80s and 90s the only thing that has changed is the principal and a few teachers they still treat the children the same to them its only a job
My daughter entered the 6th grade this year and I have to admit I was terrified of 'Middle School'. She is now ending her 1st academic school year at General John Stricker and we are both pleased. She has been on Honor Roll every quarter, made wonderful friends, and volunteers at the school store during lunch. Her success is attributed to her hard work, teacher dedication, and parent support. Thank you GJSMS, my daughter is very happy. Very simply
GJSMS is exceptional with children with special needs. The IEP teams members are excellent and have a great outlook for my grandson with special needs. The explain the testing results and answer any questions I have. I give a rating of excellent!!!
i like this school my daughter does very well here and the teachers are fantastic
i love my school. the teachers re awsome and i just love the programs
Mr. Adams is an excellent band teacher. School is ok in general.
i love this school. it helps a lot. ive learned a lot in the classes and if you are having diffucult times the teachers are right there to help. the teachers are very understandble and are great to have. the only thing that needs work is less violence oter wise its perfect
I have a very high opinion of this school! My son has had difficulty keeping his grades up because of ADHD and the teachers here have truely been a blessing! They keep me involved and give my child the attention he needs to stay focused. I believe this school to be one of the safest in the area. I have had 2 children attend here and both of them have loved it.
I think it is a fantastic school! I love the music program! I can't wait until 8th grade!
I think General John Stricker is a ok school this is my 3rd child going through school their and I must say that the kids are alot different now with the picking on other kid.And also I have called the school office a number of time and I never got a call back. On the other hand when I sent a note in to my child teacher I always got a call back by the next day.So my advice would be if you have a child going their you really need to keep on top of things.
