The teachers, administrators & staff go above & beyond what I expected. It is obvious that they care about each student and want to see them succeed. The school does a great job to keep you informed on your child's progress as well as what is going on in the school. My child excelled and grew into a wonderful, caring young adult at JRCA. I love that he was able to have a dual enrollment in his senior year, taking classes at the local community college. This allowed him to fulfill some classes that he would've needed to take at the 4 yr. university he'll be attending. Our family has been blessed by JRCA and we are grateful.
James Run is a high school where your child is not just a number. Small class sizes assure a higher quality learning experience. Christian education and academics go hand-in-hand and with an emphasis on Servant Leadership, my child has developed a Christ-like heart to serve his family, school and community. A high standard is upheld and the rigous academics has prepared my child for what will be faced in college. I am grateful to the dedicated people at JRCA and know that it was worth the sacrifice.
This is a small school where the students feel like family. It is an excellent basic education that prepares students for college. I have one child that graduated and received an academic scholarship to a four year college in engineering and second child who is currently a student. The small classes insure that no child falls through the cracks. I highly recommend JRCA.
It's a small school, but well supported by parents and teachers. In a supportive, value-centric environment, students learn to form their own ideas and become competent individuals. You'll find that signing your kid up for rec sports (as there are only a few extracurricular activities, although student creation of clubs is encouraged) is a small concession for the right environment for their transition into young adulthood. Give it a visit at the very least.
