This school has it all! The facilities, teachers, counselors, coaches and last but not least the Principal Mr. Thibeault! This Principal is amazing....professional, motivated, dedicated, truly involved and lets not forget the smile. His staff is wonderful also. I 've had the pleasure of having him as a Principal of two children and at two different schools and both school where amazing. I love Patterson Mills parent turn out at events also. I cant say enough about this school and staff! Proud Mom of the Defensive Player of the year

Patterson Mill is the best kept secret in Harford County. It has the most visible and involved Principal (Mr. Thibeault), the best facilities and the most dedicated staff of any school in Harford County. I am a teacher in another district and have been in enough schools to legitimately state that this is the best school with which I have ever had any involvement. Absolutely outstanding.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Maryland used the Maryland High School Assessments (HSA) to test students in English 2, Algebra, and Biology upon completion of each course. The HSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Maryland. Students are required to pass the tests in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to pass the tests.
