As a former student I can truly say that Community Based Classroom is the best alternative to normal high school. Not only does it prepare you to obtain you diploma, it also prepares you for the real world. With the small classroom and one on one interaction you are bound to leave with a brain full of useful information. I recommend CBC for anyone who has fallen off of track and ready to gain control of their education.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Maryland used the Maryland High School Assessments (HSA) to test students in English 2, Algebra, and Biology upon completion of each course. The HSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Maryland. Students are required to pass the tests in order to graduate. The goal is for all students to pass the tests.
