I am a student at banneker and I love all the teachers there , especially ms.Lee, Vails, Hammer, larsen,Itwaru, whitney, and prietz. also the pffice secrateries are nice too , but the only problem is that there are a few students that cause trouble often around the school
The prinipal doesnt do anything and he is barely around. Discipline is lacking. Its a ok school not that good
its a wonderful school I go there it awesome mr. Ellis, ms. lee, ms murphy , and ms. dean are the best
It is a great school they teach very well and we have alot of fun with the teachers
This school has improved big time! Promethean boards and technology is all over the building. Administration has improved as well
I love it here! Kids are improving all around. We just need more parent support and follow up.
Banneker is a fairly good school with a good staff the only problems are the lack of discipline in the students. I don't believe that the lack of discipline is because of the staff but because of the students. Having the promethean boards added to classes has greatly improved student will to participate. Hopefully Banneker will be able to make changes for the better with the money that it is recieving.
Banneker is a fairly good school, but there are some problems with discipliine standards. Administrative staff sometimes seem to throw up their hands in response to some of the behavioral problems in the school. Overall, however, I have found teachers to be interested and enthusiastic about teaching, even if some of the student population is not.
see I go to this school and make a lot of friends there because of the large quauntity of the students. The school does not enforce dicipling very well, but the new principle seems to make the difference. All this school needs is better teachers, that is what I say. Overall this school would be a great place for your child. So com join the fun bobcat banneker.
If you have a child in an Honors or AP class, don't worry. If not, look out. The discipline here is questionable. But with a new principal, hopefully this will change.
