QACHS is a decent school. We moved from the Western Shore and this school is a lot more parent friendly than the schools across the bridge. The teachers are pretty good, and the community is awesome.

What can I say about QACHS? Since, moving here over a year ago this school has only enhanced the already good academic foundation my children had. QACHS has a curriculum that is well rounded and gives the opportunity for choices. The dual enrollment program with Chesapeake College is a great opportunity for student that are college bound. As an involved and participating parent I have seen the progress that my children have made since attending QACHS. I am also glad to see that the graduating class of 2007 had a Baccalaureate service. Thank you QACHS for helping my children to be strong leaders in this nation. God Bless!

The teachers at this school are much better then Kent Island High. It may have to do with over crowding at the other school. The only thing that no Queen Anne's school dont offer is night school. Talbot County does and it helps alot of kids get there High School deploma instead of a GED. I do have to say that QACHS has a great band program and a wonderful band teacher. That is the only reason my son goes here...

As a former student of QACHS, I can personally claim it has to be the best high school on the Eastern Shore. Now graduated with children of my own, I only hope that they may attend this school and take with them the valuable lessons that I, myself, learned there. Every teacher had time for each student, the classes and challenges were variated to suit different levels of student needs, including extra curricular, and the school spirit was immeasurable. This gave the student body a feeling of community filled with variety, which I feel, prepared them for 'real life'. As in all institutes of learning, however, you only learn what you have a desire to. (I.E. you can lead a horse to water...). This lax attitude regarding acheivement allowed the student the independence to determine their own fate, which only enhanced their future abilities. In close, a great school. GO LIONS!

I am very fond of my memories of qachs. I played 3 varsity sports and made some of the best friends in my life there. A down side i must say is that i don't think i was as advanced as other kids when i got to college in math and science, but my writing skills were superb!(thanks ms. Kirby) all i can say is this school is what you make it. Its country and not very advanced but the life values and experiences you receive, if you take those oppurtunities, will be the best time of your life and will be part of the greatest memories of your life!go mighty lions go!

This school district is wonderful. They will bend over backwards to meet every childs needs. They are even willing to help those families in need. They are very good at getting our children to learn what they need to know by the time they are outin the real world. If i had the opportunity to go back to being 14 again i would difinately chose QACHS as a school for me to attend. However, I cannot go back in time but, what i can do is give my children this education I never received. QAC has been very aware of my children's needs and they continue to be great influences.

I was a student at this school until i recently moved to florida. This was a wonderful place to learn and most of the teachers cared a lot for their students and tried hard to help them. There was so much school pride and since i moved i see why. Go lions!

I would like to see a better special education curriculum for dyslexic students as Queen Anne's county school system falls very short of the critical help these students need and deserve.
