I am so pleased with Chesapeake City Elementary school..My son started kindergarten this year and he is learning so much. He is even reading me books. Mrs. Swyka and Mrs. Ruley are the best, my son just adores them. I am so glad we chose CCES.

I'm so glad my children went to CCES! Teachers love their jobs, and it shows! Both my son and daughter still love to visit their favorites - Mrs. Swyka, Mrs. Gustafson, WE LOVE YOU!!! My brother and his wife live in Delaware and must pay to send their kids to top notch private schools to get the kind of education that CCES provides! They are always considering a move into our district. Honestly, though, I'd rather people not move into our area - Let's keep CCES small so that it can maintain the wonderful, caring, small-town atmosphere!

The school is small only about 300 kids but the heart and the community at this school is the largest I have seen. The teachers are wonderfull and the PTO at this school is A1, The new principle at the school is a bit too laid back, but I am sure that will change.

Chesapeake City Elem. school is wonderful. The teachers are attentive to each child's particular needs. Discipline and learning go hand in hand here. The teachers recognized my son's need for the new Challenge program, and acted accordingly. My son's grades are up, since he's no longer bored with the work. Best of all, every year since kindergarten he has told me how great his teacher is. This is his last year at CCES, and we will miss those great teachers, secretaries, and the administration at Chesapeake City Elementary School.

The school needs more male teachers. Also, even though some students may cause trouble the teachers seem to focus on that only. They find the negative not the positive.
