My wife and I chose Kent School as an alternative to the floundering local public school system for various reasons: the academic climate is challenging; the school environment is nurturing, safe, and secure; the staff is professional, caring, and engaged; and parental involvement is exceptional. As a fourth grade student, my child writes book reports monthly, engages in pre-algebra in Math, takes field trips which arouse her curiosity is Science, sharpens her computer skills in computer lab, and memorizes and applies math and spelling facts and principles. Most importantly, my daughter loves Kent School. She is building a solid academic foundation which will benefit her tremendously in high school, college, and beyond. Kent School is worth every penny!
My child has attended Kent School since pre-K (age 5). My wife and I chose Kent School as an alternative to the local public school system for various reasons: the academic culture is challenging; the staff is professional, engaged, and committed; the school environment is safe and secure; and parental involvement is exceptional. As a fourth grade student, my child: completes a book report monthly, studies pre-algebra in math, continues working on her computer skills in the lab, take science and social studies' trips, and learns through memorization of math, history, and spelling facts and principles. Kent School is a valuable investment in your child's future. It is worth every penny!
This is a great school. The setting on the Chester River makes for a wonderful learning environment. Most of the teachers have been there for a long time and really care about the students. Each teacher has voice mail so there is a high level of parent teacher interaction.
The personalized education Kent School provides makes all the difference.
