We have 3 of our children in Hollywood right now. From 5th down to first grades. The teachers at Hollywood are what make the school so great. They have all been wonderful to our kids.

I am the 2009-2010 PTA President and believe that Hollywood is a school that truely cares about its families. The teachers are committed to their students successes and the school has numerous programs throughout the year to promote learning and fun. It is a true joy as a parent to be involved with such great professionals.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Maryland used the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and grades 5 and 8 in science. The MSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Maryland. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the test.
