I was looking into the public school nearby. They have 22 kids in kinder garden per teacher and no assisstant. In this school they have less than 20 kids and an assisstant. So far I think this school is far better and superior than any public schools in this area.

My children began Berwyn in PreSchool and Kindergarten. My daughters are now grown. Berwyn help lay a good christian foundation. They also received a quality education.

My son attended pre-school and my daughter was in the kindergarten class. Overall, I thought it was a good experience. They tend to be serious about good behaviour and academics. I appreciated the size of the school, the friendly staff. We couldn't stay for the long haul, but I was concerned about the lack of extracurricular activities for when the kids got older. The aftercare program could have used a little more structure. The schools emphasis on teaching Christian principles were wonderful. I would say that I appreciated that the most. The pre-school classes are most popular. I hope this helps.

What can I say --- this school is AMAZING! I transferred my son to Berwyn from a PG County Public School. He was being destroyed in the public school system. At Berwyn - they displine with love and kindness. They give the children an environment that fosters learning. We have only been here a short time this year. We will be staying at Berwyn until 8th grade. I wouldn't think of putting my son anywhere else. The staff and teachers are not there at the school because it's a job -- they are there because they truely love what they do. Thank god for the school and the staff. Truely amazing. I went to Berwyn in the 70's and I loved it too. The parent involvement is amazing too. If you are thinking of sending your child here, they will be safe and nutured. No doubt about it!! A+++++++++++ SCHOOL

My son attended Preschool for the 2005 school year and had a fantastic time. They did a great job on getting him started on classroom learning and helped us when we looked for extra learning opportunities. There were a lot of chances for us to be involved in the classroom and we meet many other parents.

If you have an average child with no special needs, then this may be the school for you. But I don't, and I was extremely disappointed. I spoke to these people before enrolling my son, and I was honest, but they didn't even half try to accommodate him. Never mind that they were behind the public school I had transferred my kindergartner from in the math and reading areas. But the teacher was convinced she could handle my son's special needs, even after I asked her more than once. She couldn't, ended up doing things she said she wouldn't do (allowing another to comment on my child's behavior), and my son obviously did not last there. The teacher's aide told my son that he had an 'evil' part of him that needed to go away. My advice: explore your public schools before you decide any private school is the answer.

My daughter had a great experience in this school(kindergarten2004-2005). teachers concern every children's status, situations. I enrolled my daughter to 1st grade. I don't doubt my daughter will enjoy many things in her school. our children can learn many things(not only knowledge). It's so good school.

I enrolled my son in kindergarten for the school year 2004-2005 and we loved it! He is getting a great education. The classes are small so each student gets a lot of individual attention. Kindergarden and first grade also have a full time teaching assistant in the class. The principal, teachers and all of the staff are wondereful. My son will be back for fist grade.

My grandaughter went to 1st. And 2nd. At berwyn baptist school and we just loved it! it was so wonderful how all the teachers and staff knew who you are because of the size of the classes! there was alot of love for the children in school! the children had respect and manners. One of the teachers or staff could ask them to quite down and line up and everything would get quite and lined up. I think it was out of respect that they were like this. My family has never felt more welcome. great school.
