Beautiful campus in rural area but between baltimore and philly. Good mix of students from region and around the world. Great food - fun weekends. Went on a tour of museums and then went to like 3 cheese steak places. Really good academics (lots of homework - ugh!) but worth it. My roommate just graduated and is going to NYU. Small but I feel really comfortable here.

This school is one of the worst places I have sent my child. The teachers do not teach, my child always complained of rude rumors around school, day students have to stay till 930pm sometimes due to sports that you must take part in, lots of relationships and favorites teachers pick, and very low learning standard. It was rated one of the lowest schools on learning standard. The only reason why it is so well known is because it is 'the oldest boarding school in america' trust me i would not send my child there. Very hard to get to nice colleges from this school because of the low teaching/learning standard and colleges know that and will choose someone in public school over this school if there SAT scores are close. My child was not prepared for college after this and was very confused in her college classes. Do not go

WNA offers a rigorous college-preparatory program on a beautiful campus near the Chesapeake Bay. WNA offers small classes, faculty that love to teach, and students who love to learn. Since my daughter has been at WNA, I have noticed a tremendous change in her. She has grown from being a very dependent child to a very independent young woman. Prior to her attending WNA, I worried about how she would do in college, but that is no longer a concern of mine. WNA has prepared and challenged her academically.
