The teachers are pretty lazy and don't want to be challenged. The principal is very hands off and has been there for more then 15 years.

This is a fabulous school with positive, supportive leadership & teachers. The PTA is very involved and contributes greatly to the needs and social activities of the children. In fact, there is so much parental involvement at this school, they have to draw names for the parents allowed to attend field trips!

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Maryland used the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and grades 5 and 8 in science. The MSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Maryland.
