I'm really surprised by the rating. This school is a good school even though it's in edgewood. The administration cares about the students and encourage parental involvement. My son is in band and in an afterschool program called GEMS. His teacher is one of the best teacher's he's had all since he entered grade school.

I think that Deerfield is a wonderful school. My children are receiving a wonderful education and their teachers really show that they care about them.

Actually I was surprised by the rating of this school. My daughter attends deerfield and is very proud of her school, she's doing great and loves art, gym and media. The teachers are hard workers and the principal is the best. She's trying to make changes to improve the state scores. Unfortunately the community sometimes don't make a good effort to make things better and I don't thing parent's are involved enough and sometimes are not the best example for their kids.
