Excellent middle school. The teachers were encouraging and engaging. Curriculums were very effective! Would recommend to any family in the area.
I love Fallston Middle School!! The only thing greater that new principal is the teachers. They are winners, they have great experience and they care about each student. What more can you ask ask from a school? As a student this school has everything needed for achivement. This school is Fantastic!
New principal is a winner! Strong leadership and great pride in the building, the students, community, staff. Works long hard hours to make positive changes.
i went to fallston middle and it was great. the teachers were very nice and helpful. the daily things you do was amazing from homeroom to the time we goto home is just so fun. i loved it. i recommend you to send you children there the will love as much as i did.
My child's guidance counselor has helped my child and myself with so much this year! Thank you for all you do and for being there for my child.
I love Fallston Middle School!!!!!!!!! It is Clean and they Have so many after school activities. They give me confidence about my test scores and report cards.
Fallston is an okay shcool. I am a a middleschooler, and I agree that there are few classes for gifted students. I am apart of redistricting, and they are now losing many classes for the many gifted kids still at the school. The teachers are okay in teaching you, but the principal is harsh, and never comes out of her office.
Im currently in the 8th grade and i say that the school is nice. i mean i agree with the last two, the guidance councelors are definately worthless, because,i wont state the name, one of the guidance councelors are very rude and dont help with anything. i dont think it is not so crowded anymore since the construction, so on the scale i would give it a 4.5.
Im curently in the middle school, and I just want to say I agree with the comment that was said before mine. That is abseloutly right that the school is overcrowded, and the guidence counslers are usless. And in the winter it is hard with the portables. Although I must say they are adding onto the school so it will be less crowded in the school. But it does have its good points like we did pretty good on tests... I guess. Most of the teachers in the school (as of 2006) are fairly decent. Some are a little weird with their teaching skills though. Fms on a scale of one to ten, I rate a 4.5.
I'm in the high school now, but my experiences at FMS were not great. The design of the school is not fit to accommodate the 1200 kids. There is a severe overcrowding issue. So far, there are ten portables. In eighth grade, most of my classes were outside of the main buliding, which was difficult during the winter. The hallways and stairwells are crowded, making it easy for students to cause disturbance without being recognized. The school does not offer advanced classes for gifted students, leaving children unchallenged and bored. The faculty does not issue the right amount of discipline, and the guidance conselours are useless. The high school and elementary school are fine, but if you are considering sending your child to FMS, don't.
