Gerstell Academy

Both of my daughters have attended Gerstell Academy since they started school. My oldest daughter has been there since the first year classes were held in the main building and will be going into the 9th grade in the fall. My youngest will be in the 2nd grade. Both love to go to school, get consistently great grades and have gained knowledge that I am sure I was not taught until high school. The public speaking begins in pre-k and is amazing to watch the kids grow each year. Leadership curriculum is taught daily, in every single class. The kids are taught to show their appreciation to their peers, their teachers, the parents, and staff. The school has grown in exciting ways. For example, the Varsity Boys Soccer and Lacrosse teams won the MIAA "C" Conference Championships--the first year in the MIAA. All of the graduation seniors were accepted to college and awarded a stunning amount of scholarship funding. The clubs are growing in the middle and upper school including the "G" Club (a take on Glee Club--singing and dancing) in the middle school three years ago. The teachers and administrators are top notch in all three schools of Gerstell Academy. Cannot imagine another choice.

We have been involved with Gerstell Academy for six years as parents. We appreciate the emphasis on leadership, social skills, public speaking, and challenging academics. We love the daily physical education, the art and music programs, and the extra-curricular clubs and activities. We are very pleased that 100% of the high school seniors have been accepted to top colleges and universities. We highly recommend the school!

We have attended Gerstell Academy for 4 years. We started in the pre-k program and have been thrilled by the growth in the school and our children. We truly believe in and follow the Leadership Principles and Attributes that Gerstell Academy instills in our children. Our children s teachers have been amazing and we love the school! I would highly recommend Gerstell Academy.

We have 2 young children attending Gerstell Academy and are proud to be part of the Gerstell family. The strong emphasis on leadership begins in Pre-K and the enriched curriculum will be essential for college readiness. The teachers and faculty are committed to educating our children and the parent association gives every parent an opportunity to be involved.

We were not happy with the school. Gerstell is supposed to be a school with a strong emphasis on leadership, we found that the children who attend the school had better leadership skills than their teachers. We were there for a total of 8 years and watched the school decline after a change in the administration.

My children attend Gerstell Academy. Over the last 4 years we have been very pleased with the level of caring on behalf of the teachers and the academics. Our children love to go to school each and every day and come home excited to share their day with me. They learn so much, often in ways that they don't even realize is learning, but both of their standardized test scores are consistently above the national and state averages and their conversation and interest in politics, the world and numerous subjects often impresses people so much that they constantly ask us ... what school do your children attend? This is still a fairly new school and there are still some kinks to be ironed out, but they are already on par with the established schools and forging ahead.
