Rose Valley Elementary School

This was one of the worst schools I have ever attended. The two 6 grade teachers and Vice Pr. are the best. The PTA has very little to no participation from the parents or teachers. Who knows what the PTA is doing. This school needs a lot of help. The school looks the same. It hasn't changed in over 12 years. What A joke.

My daughter, a 5th grader, has attended Rose Valley since Kindergarten and my younger brother and sister both attended years ago. They all had Ms. Powell-Larkin as their principal and she is the kind of principal you want for your child. She's involved, she knows their names and what/how they are doing. She encourages them to do well and encourages parents to stay involved also. I have peace of mind knowing my child is within the scope of her supervision. I have gotten to choose my child's teachers and have had many opportunities to be involved in various school activities. Ms. Powell-Larkin even had the school chorus repeat a song that my child had a solo in, because I got there late and missed it. She's just great, and the parent support system at Rose Valley is one of a kind.

I love this school.Principal Larkin has given me one of the best experiences I have ever had dealing with schools and faculty.
